Director’s Message

My first personal experience at Camp Kinneret-Biluim was in the summer of 1982. Like most campers of yesterday and today, I was a bit nervous about the fact that I was coming to a new place where the only other person I knew was my brother, and he was just as nervous as I was! I remember telling my mother that I didn’t want to board the bus. She pointed at another kid that was listening to the same music that I liked and said, “I think you’ll be fine”. Suffice to say, my mother was right. That summer made me stronger, and actually changed my life. I spent the next five consecutive summers as a camper, including my summer at Biluim Canada in 1985, and the six summers following that as a proud member of the Camp Kinneret-Biluim staff team. I met my wife at Camp Kinneret-Biluim and now my children are campers here, as well. And that kid with the loud music….he is actually still my best friend today!

Camp Biluim is known for a staff team that places the needs and well being of it’s campers as it’s first priority. Camp Biluim is known for developing and implementing programmes that bring out the best in each and every camper. Camp Biluim is known for creating a community where everyone is made to feel welcome. Camp Biluim is known for being the home of the BEST SUMMER EVER!
